    Испания разрешила экстрадицию в РФ гражданина Мавритании, обвиняемого в хищении российских траулеров

    Совет министров Испании 27 августа 2007г. принял решение об экстрадиции в Россию гражданина Мавритании Абасса Бугурбаля, обвиняемого в незаконном присвоении трех рыболовецких траулеров, принадлежащих РФ. Как передает РБК, об этом говорится в сообщении адвокатского бюро "Егоров, Пугинский, Афанасьев и партнеры", представляющего интересы РФ по возврату траулеров. В сообщении отмечается, что было принято решение о первоочередной выдаче Бугурбаля в РФ с последующей экстрадицией в Исламскую Республику Мавритания. Таким образом, в вопросе о конкуренции ходатайств об экстрадиции, поданных российскими и мавританскими правоохранительными органами, предпочтение было отдано российскому запросу, говорится в сообщении.

    Напомним, в июне 2004г. три российских судна - "Капитан Кононов", "Юозас Алексонис" и "Тралмейстер Могутов", принадлежащие ОАО "Архангельский траловый флот", собственником 100% акций которого является РФ в лице Федерального агентства по управлению федеральным имуществом, были арестованы в Мавритании, где они занимались рыбным промыслом. Причиной ареста стал иск мавританской фирмы - Societe de Promotion de la Peche (SPP), обвинившей ОАО "Архангельский траловый флот" в неуплате 13 млн долл., которые российская компания якобы задолжала. В подтверждение существования долга представители SPP предъявили документы, которые, как выяснилось в ходе проведенного расследования, были сфальсифицированы, но траулеры уже оказались в распоряжении мавританского предпринимателя Бугурбаля. Добиваясь возврата своих траулеров, Россия инициировала целый ряд судебных процессов в различных юрисдикциях, а в отношении Бугурбаля и его подельников было возбуждено уголовное дело и вынесено постановление об их аресте.
