    Моряки получат $500 тысяч долларов за сообщение сливе за борт нефтесодержащих вод с греческого балкера “Северная принцесса”

    При стоянке в порту Джексонвилле (США) еще ноябре 2006 года с греческого балкера «Северная принцесса» произошел незаконный случай слива за борт нефтесодержащих вод. Как сообщает РИА Дейта.RU со ссылкой на председателя Дальневосточной региональной организации Российского профсоюза моряков Николая Суханова, при расследовании данного случая второй механик судна ввел следствие в заблуждение, а двое рядовых моряков и два механика чистосердечно рассказали властям США о незаконном загрязнении портовых вод. «И вот только накануне после завершения расследования, пришло сообщение, что в соответствии с законом США тем, кто сообщил властям о факте загрязнения, полагается вознаграждение. Двое рядовых моряков получат по 230 тысяч долларов, а два механика по 20 тысяч. Греческому судовладельцу предстоит уплата штрафа в 1,3 миллиона долларов, а второму механику, скрывшему случай загрязнения – штраф - 1 000 долларов», – добавил Николай Суханов.
