  Норвежский оператор танкерного флота модернизировал судовой двигатель BW Malacca для работы на мазуте и СНГ

  Норвежская компания BW LPG (Осло), владелец и оператор флота танкеров, работающих на сжиженном нефтяном газе, завершила модернизацию главного двигателя своего танкера BW Malacca. Теперь судно сможет работать на двух видах топлива, говорится в пресс-релизе MAN Energy Solutions.
  
  Последняя конверсия завершает проект модернизации силовых установок 15 газовозов. Судовой двигатель линейки MAN B & W 6G60ME-C9.2 был заменен на двухтопливный двигатель MAN B & W 6G60ME-C9.5-LGIP, способный работать как на мазуте, так и на СНГ.
  
  Работы по модернизации силовой установки проводились на китайском судоремонтном заводе Yiu Lian Dockyards (Шэньчжэнь) в рамках планового (через 5 лет) ремонта судна, который проводился под наблюдением MAN PrimeServ, подразделения MAN Energy Solutions занимающегося послепродажным техническим обслуживанием. Танкер BW Malacca с новым двигателем уже завершил ходовые испытания.
  
  Количество заказов у MAN Energy Solutions на двигатели ME-LGIP превысило 120. Из этих двигателей 35 уже находятся в эксплуатации. Модернизированные танкеры для перевозки СНГ объемом более 30 тыс куб.м. использующие технологии ME-LGIP, могут использовать часть перевозимого груза в качестве судового топлива.
  
  О первых четырех заказов на модернизацию MAN Energy Solutions сообщила в сентябре 2018 года, до официального запуска двигателя ME-LGIP в своем исследовательском центре в Копенгагене. На мероприятии был официально подписан контракт с BW LPG. В конце октября 2020 года было завершено переоборудование главного двигателя на борту газовоза BW Gemini. Судно танкерного оператора стало первым в мире гражданским судном, приводимым в движение двухтактным двухтопливным двигателем на сжиженном нефтяном газе.
  
  В компании напоминают, что использование сжиженного нефтяного газа в качестве судового топлива позволяет снизить выбросы: серы - на 99%, двуокиси углерода - на 15%, окислов азота - на 10% и твердых частиц - на 90%.
  
  Судоходная компания BW LPG с 40-летним опытом работы сегодня является ведущим международным владельцем и оператором флота танкеров для перевозки сжиженного углеводородного газа (LPG), мега-газовозов типоразмеров VLGC и LGC общей грузовместимостью более 4 млн куб. метров. Входит в группу BW Group флот которой включает более 250 судов, в том числе нефтеналивные танкеры, танкеры для перевозки СПГ и СУГ, плавучие системы по хранению и регазификации (FSRU), танкеры-химовозы, сухогрузы и плавучие установки хранения и отгрузки нефти (FPSO).
