    Ирландская компания разработала проект полностью электрического пассажирского парома

    Вывод парома на маршрут между Белфастом и Бангором планируется на 2024 год

    Инженерно-конструкторское бюро Artemis Technologies (Белфаст, Северная Ирландия) представило новый проект полностью электрического пассажирского судна EF-24 типа катамаран на подводных крыльях, ориентированного на мировой рынок быстроходных паромных судов, говорится в сообщении компании.

    Пассажирский паром на подводных крыльях проекта EF-24 будет иметь максимальную скорость 38 узлов при дальности плавания 115 миль и эксплуатационной скорости 25 узлов. Габаритная длина судна составит 24 м. Топливная экономичность парома на 85% выше по сравнению с обычными быстроходными паромами на дизельных двигателях. Судно проекта EF-24 будет оснащено запатентованной электрической силовой установкой Artemis eFoiler. На быстроходном пароме смогут разместиться 150 пассажиров. Для пассажиров предусмотрены стойки велосипедов, багажные отделения, пункты зарядки и другие удобства.

    Суда также будут оснащены системой предотвращения столкновений, разработанной совместно с ECIT (входит в Королевский университет Белфаста). Система обеспечит безопасность операций в порту и вблизи берега, сможет автоматически направлять паром по измененному маршруту в обход мест обитания морской фауны, скопления мусора и других объектов, которые могут быть незаметны для экипажа.

    Паром является одним из нескольких быстроходных судов с нулевым уровнем выбросов, разрабатываемых Artemis Technologies для осуществления безопасных экологичных транспортных операций операторами судов, муниципалитетами и правительствами разных стран. Компания Artemis Technologies в партнерстве с Condor Ferries также запустила пилотный маршрут с использованием первого пассажирского парома EF-24. Вывод парома на маршрут между Белфастом и Бангором (Северная Ирландия) планируется на 2024 год.
