    Объемы контейнерооборота терминалов Панамы снижаются второй год подряд

    Исключение — терминал Бальбоа, где рост составил 6%

    Практически на всех контейнерных терминалах Панамы второй год подряд наблюдается падение объемов перевалки контейнеров, за исключением порта Бальбоа, где рост составил 6%. Об этом сообщает отраслевой ресурс Seatrade Maritime.

    Ограничение на транзит судов, введенное администрацией Панамского канала в середине 2023 года в связи с засухой и падением уровня воды в водоемах, помогло терминалам в сентябре-декабре 2023 года частично восстановить объемы.

    Судоходные линии, которые были вынуждены сократить количество перевозимых контейнеров для соблюдения требований по сокращению осадки судов с 15,24 метра (в нормальных условиях) до 13,56 метра, а с 30 мая — до 13,4 метра (действующая осадка), стали выгружать контейнеры на терминалах со стороны Тихого океана и доставлять их по железной дороге с последующей погрузкой на суда на «атлантических» терминалах для продолжения рейса.

    В октябре-декабре 2023 года наблюдался рост перевалки контейнеров: в октябре — на 4,2%, в ноябре — на 1,7% и в декабре — на 4,5% по сравнению со снижением объемов с января по сентябрь.

    Грузооборот международного терминала Мансанильо-Панама (MIT) упал в 2023 году на 4,4%, контейнерного терминала Evergreen Colon Container Terminal (CCT) — на 6%, терминала Cristobal (Hutchison PPC) — на 2,8%, PSA International-Panama — на 9,5%.

    Терминал Бальбоа, расположенный на входе в канал со стороны Тихого океана (под управлением Hutchison PPC) с августа 2023 года демонстрировал ежемесячный рост грузооборота: в августе 2023 года — на 10,2%, в сентябре — на 15,8%, в октябре — 15,7%, в ноябре — 11,7% и в декабре —на 13,7%.

    В последнем квартале 2023 года другие перевалочные центры также имели некоторый рост, в частности на контейнерном терминале Колон, где зарегистрирован рост грузооборота: в сентябре — на 32,5%, в октябре — на 27,3% и в декабре — на 13,6%.
