  Проект конверсии судна Green Pioneer для работы на аммиаке получил классификационное свидетельство DNV

  Конверсия по проекту Fortescue Metals Group (Австралия) реализована на верфи Seatrium (Сингапур)

  

  Классификационное и сертификационное общество DNV (Det Norske Veritas, Норвегия) вручило австралийской горнодобывающей компании Fortescue Metals Group (FMG), которая также занимается разработкой «зеленых» технологий, классификационное свидетельство и обязательные сертификаты для двухтопливного судна Fortescue Green Pioneer (флаг Сингапура) с двигателями, работающими на аммиаке и дизельном топливе.

  Общество DNV было привлечено Fortescue к участию в проекте конверсии с момента его запуска в 2021 году, подготовки ТЭО и освидетельствования для присвоения нотации класса (Fuel-ready / Ammonia), т. е. готовности к модернизации силовой установки для перехода на использование аммиака.

  В правилах нотации класса DNV для заправки судов аммиаком изложены требования к топливной системе судна, соединениям для бункеровки газомоторным топливом и трубопроводам.

  Из-за отсутствия правил ИМО, регулирующих конкретное использование аммиака, DNV и Fortescue при поддержке Морской и портовой администрации Сингапура воспользовались положением СОЛАС об альтернативных проектных решениях (ADA), особенно в отношении рисков пожара и эвакуации персонала.

  В 2022 году в своем испытательном центре в Перте (Зап. Австралия) инженеры Fortescue провели переоборудование четырехтактного судового двигателя для работы на аммиаке и дизельном топливе. Далее, на сингапурской верфи Seatrium начались работы по конверсии силовой установки судна Green Pioneer для использования аммиака в сочетании с обычным судовым топливом.

  В марте 2024 года была проведена тестовая бункеровочная операция, в ходе которой Fortescue Green Pioneer был заправлен аммиаком на острове Джуронг (порт Сингапур). После испытаний, которые проводились в несколько этапов в течение семи недель, судно было зарегистрировано Сингапурским реестром судов (SRS) и получило нотацию класса DNV (Gas Fuelled Ammonia).
