KMTC to start new Intra-Asia Pusan to Nhava Sheva service
KMTC plans to launch intra-Asia service (NIX) next month with five container ships operating alongside the company's existing three-vessel KMS service.
The NIX will provide two weekly sailings to Singapore, Hong Kong, Pusan and Nhava Sheva, Xingang and Qingdao.
Transit times from Singapore to the Indian port of Nhava Sheva will be six days, nine days to Xingang and 11 days to Qingdao, the company said in a statement.
The port of Hong Kong in Southern China and others in North China, Japan and the South Korean port of Pusan will provide transhipment services.
"We are excited about this new service, because we are now able to fulfil our customers' various needs in the fast changing shipping market," the statement added.
