Fleet of Tall Ships' Races 2007 Baltic leaves Stockholm
The Tall Ships' Races fleet left Stockholm on July 30, sailtraininginternational.org reports. The Stockholm stageheld from July 27 till July 30 involved over 118 ships from 20 countries. This year the Tall Ships' Races was arranged for the 51st time. Each stage takes 4 days and implies certain tasks in the ports and races between the ports. The first stage of the Tall ships' Races 2007 Baltic was held in Denmark (port of Arhus) July 5-8, the second one – in Finland (Kotka) July 18-21. The final stage is to be held in Polish city of Szczecin August 4-7.
Entry to Tall Ships' Races is open to any monohull sailing vessel of more than 9.14m waterline length, provided that at least 50 percent of the crew are aged between 15 and 25 years and that the vessel meets Sail Training International's safety equipment requirements.

One of the stages of the Tall Ships' Races 2009 will be held in St. Petersburg (Russia).
