In January-November 07, the ports of the Leningrad region handled 90.1 million tonnes of cargo (+18%, year-on-year), press center of the regional government reports. Throughput of the port of Primorsk totaled 67.8 million tonnes of oil. In the reported period the port handled 677 tankers (+14%, year-on-year).
The port of Vysotsk handled 15.3 million tonnes of cargo (+21.5%, year-on-year). The highest dynamics was demonstrated by the port of Ust-Luga. In the 11-month period it increased cargo handling by 1.9 times to 6.4 million tonnes.
