“LNG Fleet and LNG Bunkering in Russia” Conference has opened in Moscow today, on 24 October 2018. The event is supported by RF Ministry of Industry and Trade and Federal Marine and River Transport Agency. The Conference organizers are Media Group PortNews and Krylov State Research Center.
The Conference objective is to determine the problems related to creation and development of the new sector, outline the ways of solution.
The Conference Programme includes the discussion of the following projects: construction of four icebreakers running on LNG for a joint venture of Rosatomflot and Novatek, construction of LNG-powered ferryboats to be operated by FSUE Rosmorport on Ust-Luga-Baltijsk line, construction of LNG bunker vessels for Russia’s largest bunkering companies – Gazpromneft Marine Bunker and RN-Bunker.
The delegates will also discuss the first experience of operating LNG powered tankers by PAO Sovcomflot and prospects of developing a series of Green Aframax ships at Zvezda shipyard.
