PortNews is 10 years old!
Media-Group PortNews celebrated its 10-year anniversary in Moscow, at the 22nd floor of the Golden Ring Hotel. The celebration was attended by our friends who have been supporting us over the decade.
Present-day structure of Russian state authorities in water transport sector formed 10 ago. 10-year anniversaries have been recently celebrated by the Ministry of Transport and FSUE Rosmorport. It was the time when two Saint-Petersburg journalists, Elena Snitko and Nadezhda Malysheva, decided to establish an industry focused agency.
As of today, Media-Group PortNews is an information portal www.portnews.ru providing on-line information about the events in port and shipping sector for both Russia and foreign readers. All information of the portal is on open access in two languages.
The Group also includes the analytical journal “Port Service” and magazine “Water Transport” with almost 100 year long history. Besides, internet project “Russian Shipping” is being run jointly with the National Chamber of Shipping.
The celebration was attended by PortNews employees: Editor-in-Chief Vitaly Chernov, Chief Accountant Lyubov Vladimirova, News Editor Yevgeniya Sherkunova, Marketing and PR Manager Marina Borisenko.
The programme included the performance of Alexander Trofimov (tenor) and Tatyana Taranets (soprano) from Mariinsky Theatre.
