General Manager of SPB Marine LLC Dmitry Kutuzov made a presentation at the international conference "Russian shipbuilding".

On April 12-13, an annual conference "Russian Shipbuilding" was held in St. Petersburg. SPB Marine LLC, as a company specializing in supply of marine engines, was invited to speak on the topic "Perspective for the development of marine diesel engines in the world." A report from the company was made by the General Manager Dmitry Kutuzov.

In the course of the report, the main trends were noted, and analyzed their causes:

• Slowdown of the efficiency of forcing on the power of marine diesel engines;

• Increasing the number of engines operating on LNG, as well as the appearance of gas and gas-diesel engines on bulk carriers and oil tankers;

• Increasing the efficiency of propulsion complexes through the use of hybrid systems.
