    Scania engines of the new generation on ships of the 23040 project were put into the operation

    SPB Marine LLC experts carried out another one the commissioning and testing of four marine Scania DI 16M marine engines which were installed on the emergency rescuing raid diving boats of the 23040 project - RVK-1239 and RVK- 1261 (hulls No. 1119 and 1120). These engines are the new generation of Scania «E2011" marine engines. On all previous  eighteen hulls of the projects (hulls No. 1101-1118) the engines of the previous generation "P96" were installed. New generation has a number of improvements, one of the main – increasing service interval from 400 to 500 hours.  

    The ships were built by «ZNT-Shipyard ». The commissioning and testing was successful, and both boats will soon begin their work in the Pacific Ocean area.
