AADA ups bunker surcharge from China, HK to Australia
The Asia Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) has increased the bunker surcharge from China and Hong Kong to ports in Australia to US$475 per TEU and US$950 per FEU from May 9.
The AADA members agreed to introduce the increase to reflect recent rises in the cost of oil in Hong Kong and South Korea. The surcharge is applicable to both dry and refrigerated containers.

(MSC); Mitsui O.S.K. Line (MOL Line); Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line); Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) and Gold Star Line (HK) and ZIM Line.
