Over 250 tankers to be cleared in Sakhalin customs, 2010
Over 250 gas-carriers and tankers with crude oil will be cleared by officers of customs post located in Prigorodnoe village (Sakhalinskaya region) within 2010, informed Evgenii Ryabtsev, Head of Sakhalin Customs, at a press-conference. Customs officers have cleared 40 tankers loaded with crude oil (2 million 861 thousand tons) and 55 gas-carriers (1 million 588 thousand tons) in Prigorodnoe village current year.
‘It is planned to export over 5 million tons of oil and 7 million tons of gas condensate from the terminal in the port of Prigorodnoe. The plant of liquefied natural gas gradually gains its designed capacity volumes,’ informed RIA Sakhalin-Kurily with reference to Ryabtsev.
It is necessary to remind the first tanker with oil was cleared in the port of Prigorodnoe under ‘Sakhalin-2’ project on December 12, 2008, and the first liquefied gas cargo was shipped on March 16, 2009.
