The inflation in Russia in 2010 would amount to around 6%, said Elvira Nabiullina, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade during a meeting with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the Kremlin press service reported.
"We focus on the level of some six percent, because some factors may work at the end of the year (we are cautious estimating the figures), but may be less than six percent", the Minister was quoted as saying.

Dmitry Medvedev said: "If it is six per cent that will be the lowest inflation rate ever in the history of Russia.
According to the Russian Statistics Agency, the consumer price index in Russia rose from 8 to 15 June 2010 by 0.1% since the beginning of this month – 0.2%, year-to-date – 4.2%.
