Vitaly Sadykov appointed CEO of State Transportation Leasing Company
Vitaly Sadykov was appointed CEO of State Transportation Leasing Company on June 8th by the order of the Russian Ministry of Transport of May 25, 2010, the company press release said.
Vitaly V. Sadykov was born on March 9, 1959 in Baikal of the Chelyabinsk Region. A graduate of Magnitogorsk Mining and Metallurgical Institute and Ural Polytechnic Institute as engineer-metallurgist and economist he became Ph.D. in Economics, and a MBA from the University of Esslingen (Germany).
He was awarded the Order of Friendship. In 1999, Mr. Sadykov was the Best Manager of the Volgograd region and was named among the “Best Managers of 2003".
Since 1996, he had held administrative offices in major Russian industrial companies: Volga Pipe Plant, YUKOS Exploration and Production CJSC, United Metallurgical Company CJSC, United Pipe Plant (JSC Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant) and MostoTrest (Moscow).
In 1998 he was elected a member of Volgograd Oblast Duma.
The State Transportation Leasing Company has been operating on the leasing market since 2001. According to the Russian Govt’s order (February 2009) the company is in operational management of the Russian Ministry of Transport. The company provides contracts for leasing sea and river vessels of various classes and port equipment.
