A sailor dies in an accident at the port of St. Petersburg
A seafarer, aged 68, died in an accident that came at 4:40am (LT) at the port of St. Petersburg while the Viking ship (owned by Delta, home port of St. Petersburg) was mooring the Baltic Mariner ship for bunkering operations, Rostransnadzor reports.
Rosprirodnadzor (Federal Service for Supervising Natural Resources) said it had ordered the St.Petersburg Harbormaster to carry out preliminary investigation into the accident as the Delta company is also conducting its own investigation, PortNews reports
