Singapore port throughput rises 6.18 percent in Jan-Nov
Trade flows passing through the Port of Singapore in January-November 2011 grew by 6.18% year-over-year, to 487,997,600 tons, the Port Authority’s statistics said. Handling of oil increased by 4.6 percent to 169,701,000 tons.
Container traffic increased by 4.7% to 27,298,600 TEUs. In November, Singapore’s container trade climbed 2.3% to 2,415,500 TEUs.
