Hanjin to sign an agreement with Jacksonville Port Authority on Wednesday
Jacksonville Port Authority officials are scheduled on Wednesday to sign an agreement to construct a 90-acre, $300-million container terminal at Dames Point for Hanjin Shipping.
The authority said it is ready to begin design, permitting and construction of the facility, adjacent to MOL's TraPac Container terminal which is slated to open in January. The Hanjin Container Terminal is to be completed in late 2011.
The two terminals will triple Jaxport's container capacity.
