Tariffs of Transneft Joint Stock Company will increase by 2% from October 1, 2006
RF Federal Tariff Service has set the tariff for Transneft Joint Stock Company services on execution of orders and oil supply scheduling. Average increase to be introduced from October 1, 2006 is 2%. This information has been provided by RZHD-Partner. The company asked FTS to increase the tariff on the grounds of the increased debt service expenses related to the credit granted by Sberbank for construction of Pacific Ocean pipeline. 65 billion rubles were granted for six years. So, tariff rates for Transneft’s services on execution of orders and scheduling of oil supply to Russia’s refineries will be 8.9691 rubles per 100 ton-km from October 1, FTS reports. It is supposed, that by the end of December when the tariffs are to be approved for the next year, the company will ask for increase of pumping costs again.
