  Грузооборот Корсаковского МТП в 2012 году составил 1,1 млн тонн

  Грузооборот ОАО «Корсаковский морской торговый порт» в 2012 году составил 1 млн 152 тыс. тонн, передает ИА «Сахалин-Курилы». В том числе около 800 тыс. тонн грузов было ввезено в Сахалинскую область.
  
  Традиционно в составе ввезенных грузов первое место - около 80 % - занимают контейнеры (продукты питания, техника и оборудование). На втором месте – строительные материалы, в основном, цемент и шлакоблоки.
  
  В отгруженных товарах львиную долю составляет металлолом (около 85 тыс. тонн) и торф (около 15 тыс. тонн). Металлолом экспортируется в Корею для переработки, торф – в Японию. Через порт также экспортируется рыба и морепродукты, но пока в незначительных объемах.
  
  В планах Корсаковского порта на текущий год - переработка 1 млн 200 тыс. тонн грузов.
  
  ОАО «Корсаковский морской торговый порт» основано в 1946 году и акционировано в 1994 году. Работает на территории порта Корсаков, расположенного на юге Сахалина в северо-восточной части бухты Лососей залива Анива. Основными видами деятельности предприятия являются: выполнение погрузо-разгрузочных работ с любыми видами грузов, обслуживание российских и иностранных судов; транспортно-экспедиционное обслуживание; оказание услуг населению, предприятиям, иностранным фирмам.
