  Russian Maritime Register of Shipping audited by Cyprus Maritime Administration

  

  Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) has passed the audit of the Cyprus Maritime Administration, RS press center says. The audit was held on October 8 – 10, 2013.  
  
  When commenting on the audit results, Mikhael Mikhaelidis, representative of the Cyprus Maritime Administration announced that that the inspectors have revealed no nonconformities in the work of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. 
  
  Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) is one of the world's leading classification societies. It was founded in 1913. RS activities are focused on improvement of safety standards, safety of life at sea, prevention of environmental pollution. RS is an EU-recognized member of IACS, associate member of INTERTANKO, INTERCARGO and BIMCO. RS is recognized by 70 flag state maritime administrations including 16 EU member states.
