  Military Register confirms accreditation certificate of RS QMS certification body

  

  “Military Register” has confirmed the accreditation certificate of the body for certification of quality management system of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS), RS press center says.
  
  Accreditation in voluntary certification system “Military Register” allows RS to provide services on certification for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9000 and state military standards applied for quality management systems of the enterprises participating in execution of state defence order as well as organizations involved in research, development, supply, maintenance, repair and utilization of military equipment and defence products.
  
  According to the RF Government Decree No 629 as of August 17, 2010, organizations and enterprises of the military industrial sector willing to participate in execution of state defence order should confirm the compliance of their QMS to the requirements of ISO 9000, GOST R ISO 9001 and GOST RB 15.002. 
  
  The wide network of RS branches has a lot of certified experts which enables the Register provide QMS certification services within the “Military Register” certification system all over the Russian Federation – from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, the statement says.
