Kidnappers off Nigeria seize five crewmen from Lithuanian ship
Five crew members of a vessel owned by AB Limarko Laivininkystes Kompanija, a Lithuanian shipping company, were taken hostage off Nigeria, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Lithuanian-flagged Saturn came under attack by an unidentified group in a high-speed boat, according to the statement. The kidnappers escaped with the five men, leaving nine crew members on the ship, the ministry said without providing details.
