China Communications Construction Company interested in infrastructure projects of Klaipeda Seaport
China Communications Construction Company, one of the largest China's sea port, road and bridge construction companies, is interested in possibilities of cooperation in infrastructure projects of Klaipeda State Seaport.
The representatives of the Chinese company indicated their interest in the projects during the meeting with Lithuania's Deputy Transport Minister Rimvydas Vastakas.
During the meeting, the representatives of the Chinese company told about their projects implemented in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America and voiced their interest in cooperation with the Klaipeda State Seaport with regard to the development of its infrastructure and modernization of equipment, informs ELTA/LETA.
Vastakas presented the potential of the Klaipeda Seaport to the guests and convenient conditions for carrying cargo of Asian as well as other countries by transit to Western Europe and the Nordic countries and emphasized that Lithuania favorably assessed the intentions of foreign businessmen to cooperate and develop the country's transport infrastructure.
On Wednesday, the representatives of China Communications Construction Company will visit the Klaipeda State Seaport and will be introduced to the activities of the seaport as well as possibilities of cooperation and investments.
