Lithuania oil terminal Klaipedos Nafta Jan-Jul loadings down 4.4 million tonnes
Lithuania state-owned oil terminal Klaipedos Nafta said on Thursday it reloaded 4.4 million tonnes of refined oil products during the first seven months of the year, including 0.6 million tonnes in July.
The loadings fell from 5.1 million tones during the same period in 2008.
Klaipedos also said on Thursday its net unaudited profit for the first half of the year fell 15 percent to 16.5 million litas due to reduced loadings from Belarusian and Russian refiners.
The reduction was due Belarus' decision to stock up on fuel oil reserves for the winter, the terminal said in a statement.
Klaipeda said it planned to reload 7.1 million tonnes of oil products this year, while the loadings for the first half totalled 3.7 million tonnes.
