Finnish shipping company Dennis Maritime back in business
The re-established Finnish shipping company Dennis Maritime Ltd has taken over the operations of the 1,280 DWT cargo vessels Josefine and Nathalie after the bankruptcy of their former owner Wega Shipping. The Josefine is owned by Dennis Maritime Ltd and the Nathalie by Rederi Ab Nathalie. The owners of the companies are Dennis Saari, Jimmy Gustafson, Johan Liljeström and Antti Partanen.
Dennis Saari originally established the first Dennis Maritime but sold his shares in the company to his companion in 2006, including the vessels Josefine and Nathalie. Due to the change of ownership the name was changed to Wega Shipping.
Jimmy Gustafson, who is responsible for chartering and operations, says to Shipgaz that there seems to be a certain demand for tonnage of this size on the market.
