Rosmorport has released new rates of port dues for services provided by the state-owned port manager in the seaports of the Russian Federation. The updated tariffs were approved by the order of the Federal Tariff Service of Russia as of March 12 2014 (No 53-t / 2, registered in the Ministry of Justice, April 18, No 32029), "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" newspaper reports.
The rates of port charges were increased by an average of 4.4% at nearly all seaports of the country, except at the Arkhangelsk branch of Rosmorport and at the Port of Sochi.
To reduce loss from pilotage service in almost all seaports Rosmorport hiked rates of pilotage dues, including for piloting of short sea ships. Overall the pilotage dues were increased by 7%.
At the same time the light dues rates provided by Rosmorport at the seaport of Ust-Luga has been reduced by 10% as well as canal dues in Vostochny port.
The FTS of Russia also has approved the rates of navigation dues in the southern port of Gelendzhik.
The FTS order on port charges tariffs enters into force in all Russian ports ten days after its publication, as of May 10, 2014.
