AADA adds US$300/TEU,$600/FEU September 1 on HK/China to Australia
The 12-member lines of the Asia Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) will implement a rate increase of US$300/TEU and US$600/FEU from September 1 on cargo from mainland China and Hong Kong to Australia.
This will apply to dry and reefer cargo and added to existing market rates and be subject to surcharges applicable at the time of shipment, said the AADA statement.
AADA members are ANL Singapore, China Shipping (HK), Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin Shipping, Hyundai Merchant Marine, "K" Line, MSC, MOL, NYK, OOCL, Gold Star and Zim.
