Almost 1,000 trucks and 170 passenger cars are waiting at Latvian-Russian border
Nearly 1,000 trucks and 170 passenger cars were waiting this morning at 7 a.m. for the departure from Latvia at the Russian border, informs LETA.
690 trucks and 170 passenger cars were backed up at Terehova, and 280 trucks and 70 cars were waiting in Grebneva this morning, LETA found out from the State Border Guard.
As reported, the truck lines on the Latvian-Russian border began to grow last week, when the Russian Customs Service strengthened control over all cargo transported by Lithuanian carriers. In the last few days, queues have started to form also on Russian borders with Belarus and Kazakhstan.
