Team Lines and Unifeeder start a new feeder service between Rotterdam and Stockholm
The feeder operators Team Lines and Unifeeder start new weekly feeder services between the terminals of Europe Container Terminals (ECT) in Rotterdam and Container Terminalen Frihamnen (CTF) in Stockholm. This offers the trade a direct all-water service between the two terminals, both being part of the North European network of Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH). These new services will provide customers the option of moving containers between Rotterdam and the East Coast of Sweden in a more cost efficient and environmentally friendly manner.
ECT President and HPH director Northern Europe Jan Westerhoud: “Our policy is to have an efficient network of terminals and fast and reliable services between these terminals, offering our customers optimal access to both European and overseas markets”.
Martin Allison CEO of Hutchison Ports Sweden: “Offering our existing and potential customers this additional and alternative routing makes complete sense. The total transport logistics cost will be reduced, which is an area that our customers have been focusing on”.
The European HPH network comprises container terminals in Sweden, Poland, the Netherlands, the UK, Spain and Italy and inland terminals in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. This network and the efficient and direct services between the terminals provides the customers with high-quality and economical services.
