  McAllister приняла в эксплуатацию новый экологичный буксир, спроектированный Jensen Maritime

  Американская траспортно-буксировочная компания McAllister Towing приняла в эксплуатацию многофункциональное буксирное судно Buckley McAllister, построенное по проекту Jensen Maritime, говорится в сообщении компании.
  
  Буксир длиной 28 м, шириной 10.9 м и мощностью 5150 л.с. был построен на верфи Senesco Marine.
  
  Буксир построен на класс ABS (Maltese Cross A-1 Towing, Escort Service, FiFi 1, Maltese Cross AMS). На судне установлено два дизельных двигателя  серии 3516CHD. Это уже второе буксирное судно во флоте McAllister, которое отвечает экологическим требованиям Tier 3 к дизельным двигателям и качеству топлива.
  
  На передней палубе судна установлена лебедка JonRie серии 250 с тяговым усилием 70 тонн. В комплект оборудования для сопровождения судов входит трос Samson Satum-12 (182.8 м. х 22.8 см.) и лебедка с тормозным усилием 300 тонн с линейной скоростью 30.4 м/мин. Лебедка также имеет систему компенсации вертикальной качки для контролируемой размотки (колесо свободного хода) лебедки и равномерного натяжения троса. В комплект также входит датчики линейного натяжения для определения технического состояния троса и его своевременной замены.
  
  На корме находится лебедка JonRie (серия 512) для буксировки судов с тросом (640м x 5.7см) натяжением 63,5 тыс. кг, с линейной скоростью 18.3 м/м. Обе лебедки с приводом от электродвигателя Hägglunds. При осуществлении буксировки команде нет необходимости присутствовать на палубе и процесс можно контролировать из рулевой рубки.
