  Батискаф АС-28 будет отремонтирован на судостроительном заводе ОАО «Красное Сормово»

  Батискаф АС-28, потерпевший аварию год назад у берегов Камчатки, будет отремонтирован на судостроительном заводе «Красное Сормово» (Нижний Новгород), сообщает Российский судостроительный портал. Предполагается, что ремонт завершится к середине 2007 года. Помимо восстановительных работ, на батискафе будет полностью заменено радиоэлектронное устройство, установлена теле- и радиоаппаратура, а также новая система жизнеобеспечения. Батискаф АС-28 был построен на заводе Красное Сормово по проекту Нижегородского ЦКБ «Лазурит» в 1989 году. Его технические характеристики: длина — 13,5 м, ширина — 3,8 м, высота — 5,7 м, водоизмещение — 55 кубометров. Рабочая глубина погружения — до 1 000 метров.
  Напомним, что 4 августа батискаф АС-28 с семью членами экипажа запутался в рыболовных сетях при штатном погружении в бухте Березовая на Камчатке. Экипаж спасли в результате международной операции с помощью английского подводного аппарата Scorpio. Помимо англичан, в спасательной операции принимали участие представители Военно-морских сил США, а также спасательные суда из Японии.

III Интернационала, завод Лотос (Астрахань), а также ЦКБ Коралл (Украина), Волго-Каспийское ПКБ (Нижний Новгород) и Friede & Goldman (США).
