  Учебное судно «Крузенштерн» завершило кругосветное плавание

  Парусное судно «Крузенштерн» — четырехмачтовый барк, принадлежащий Балтийской государственной академии рыбопромыслового флота Федерального агентства по рыболовству, завершило учебное кругосветное плавание. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба губернатора Санкт-Петербурга. Плавание было организовано в соответствии с распоряжением Правительства Российской Федерации от 12 декабря 2004 года N1604-р. Кругосветное плавание «Крузенштерна», началось в порту Санкт-Петербурга 24 июня 2005 года и продолжалось почти 14 месяцев. Экспедиция проходила под патронажем министерства сельского хозяйства РФ и при содействии ВМФ РФ. За время своего путешествия парусник сделал несколько десятков остановок в портах, среди которых - Вотерфорт, Ньюкасл, Фредрикштадт, Бремерхафен, Амстердам, Сантандер, Лиссабон, Санта-Крус, Лас-Пальмас, Монтевидео, Ушуайа, Вальпараисо, Кольяьо, Акапулько, Гонолулу, Владивосток, Гонконг, Сингапур, Порт-Луи, Кейптаун. Последний раз парусник «Крузенштерн» выходил в кругосветный поход в 1995-1996 годах. «Крузенштерн» был спущен на воду в Бремерхафене (Германия) летом 1926 года под именем «Падуя». В 20-х — 30 годах прошлого века корабль совершал коммерческие рейсы в Австралию и Чили, перевозя грузы.
