  Три китайских портовых оператора исключены из списка участников торгов за организацию контейнерных терминалов в индийских портах, из-за сомнений индийского правительства в их надежности. Как сообщает uadaily.net, 30 августа в индийской прессе появились сообщения о том, что портовые холдинги Hutchison - Kaidi Electric Company и China Harbour Engineering Company не прошли проверку безопасности для участия в аукционе за размещение контейнерных терминалов в портах Mumbai, Chennai и Vizhinjam.  Larsen & Toubro, ведущая инжиниринговая и строительная фирма, объединилась с основанной в Гонконге HPH для участия в торгах за терминалы в Mumbai и Chennai, однако сейчас вынуждена искать другого партнера. Mumbai Port Trust вынужден продлить тендер до 15 сентября, уже в тринадцатый раз, - как сообщает India"s Business Standard.  Kaidi Electric Company и China Harbour Engineering Company боролись за порт Vizhinjam в южном штате Индии Керала.
