Russia’s Far East Development Ministry and Sakhatrans sign investment agreement on construction of coal terminal at Vanino port
RF Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East says an investment agreement has been signed with Sakhatrans, investor of the project on construction of a coal transshipment complex at Vanino seaport. The agreement was signed on the first day of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
According to the statement, the project will attract to the region over RUB 19 bln of private investments (including RUB 2.5 bln of injected capital), generate 450 new jobs and ensure over RUB 25 bln of tax revenue to consolidated budgets of the Russian Federation.
Allocations of RUB 3.28 bln from the federal budget for 2015-2017 are under discussion today.
