  МАСС «Спасатель Карев» отбуксировал аварийное панамское судно Yangtze River в порт Новороссийск (фото)

  Спасательное буксирное судно (СБС) «Меркурий» Азово-Черноморского филиала ФБУ «Морспасслужбы Росморречфлота» и многофункциональное аварийно-спасательное судно (МАСС) «Спасатель Карев» Балтийского филиала приняли участие в буксировке аварийного судна Yangtze River (флаг Панама) на рейд порта Новороссийск. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба «Морспасслужбы Росморречфлота».
  
  В адрес капитана порта Новороссийск 12 января 2016 года обратился директор агентской компании Wilhelmsen Ship Service с просьбой  выделить буксир для буксировки теплохода Yangtze River  на рейд порта Новороссийск.
  
  Потерявшее  ход из-за отказа главного двигателя судно находилось в 24 милях от порта. Южный, юго-восточный ветер в районе аварии достигал 13-18 м/сек, высота волны - до 5 м.
  
  Для выполнения буксировочных работ было принято решение о привлечении СБС «Меркурий» и МАСС «Спасатель Карев».
            
  В 01:30 судно «Меркурий» снялось с якоря в порту Новороссийск, а «Спасатель Карев», несущий дежурство в Керченском проливе, вышел на помощь аварийному судну.
           
  В 21:20 12 января 2016 года МАСС «Спасатель Карев», подошел к Yangtze River и начал буксировку судна в южном направлении в ожидании улучшения погоды. В 13:20 13 января 2016 года буксировка теплохода Yangtze River успешно завершена.
  
  «При проведении спасательной операции экипажи судов и груз не пострадали», - указывается в сообщении.
