    APM Terminals и Compas S.A. завершили процесс создания совместного предприятия в Колумбии

    APM Terminals и колумбийский портовый и терминальный оператор Compañia de Puertos Asociados S.A. (Compas S.A.) завершили процесс оформления нового совместного предприятия – Cartagena Container Terminal Operator (CCTO), которое будет управлять и эксплуатировать перевалочными мощностями Compas S.A. в порту Картахена (Колумбия). APM Terminals будет принадлежать контрольный пакет из 51% акций совместного предприятия.

    Грузооборот терминала составляет 250 тыс. TEUs и 1,5 млн тонн генеральных грузов в год.

    CCTO и Compas S.A. совместно инвестируют более $200 млн в модернизацию и расширение мощностей терминала для увеличения втрое годового грузооборота и возможности принимать контейнеровозы грузоподъемностью до 13 тыс. TEUs, которые будут проходить через обновленный Панамский канал после 2016 года.

    Порт Картахена, расположенный на северной оконечности Южной Америки, на побережье Карибского моря в Колумбии, является вторым по грузообороту контейнерным портом в Южной Америке и пятым по объему грузов в Латинской Америке и Карибском регионе. В 2015 году порт перевалил более 2 млн TEUs, уступив только Бальбоа и Колону (Панама), бразильскому порту Сантос и мексиканскому Мансанильо.

    CCTO является шестым действующим терминалом в Латинской Америке, принадлежащим APM Terminals. Латиноамериканские портовые активы включают терминалы в Кальяо (Перу), Буэнос-Айресе (Аргентина), в Сантосе, Песеме и Итажаи (Бразилия).

    APM Terminals в настоящее время строит новый глубоководный терминал мощностью до 1,2 млн TEUs в Лазаро Карденас (Мексика), который планируется запустить в конце 2016 года. Кроме того, компания строит аналогичный терминал мощностью 1,3 млн TEUs в Моин (Коста-Рика), пуск которого запланирован на 2018 год.
