  БДК «Азов» пришел в порт Азов для празднования 950-летия со дня основания города (фоторепортаж)

  Большой десантный корабль (БДК) Черноморского флота «Азов» 7 сентября 2017 года пришел в порт Азов для участия в мероприятиях по случаю юбилея города, передает региональный корреспондент ИАА «ПортНьюс».
  
  Военный корабль совершил переход из Средиземного моря специально по случаю празднования 950-летия города Азов, пройдя Черное и Азовское моря.
  
  Как рассказал капитан морского порта Азов Владимир Брагин, для захода в акваторию порта от приемного буя Азово-Донского морского канала (АДМК) были задействованы два буксира «ПАЛ-4» и «Портовый-22». Для обеспечения безопасности судоходства во время операции по заводу «Азова» в порт, которая заняла около 6 часов, движение на АДМК было односторонним.
  
  Кроме того, два дополнительных буксира типа РБТ – «Линтер-4» и «Линтер-5» - обеспечивали швартовку корабля к специально установленному накануне железобетонному понтону Азовского бассейнового филиала ФГУП «Росморпорт», поскольку осадка корабля не позволяла пришвартоваться непосредственно к причалу.
  
  Дни открытого трапа, когда любой желающий может подняться на борт, были организованы 8 и 9 сентября. На корабле проходили бесплатные экскурсии об истории «Азова», его вооружении и морских традициях. Одновременно 9 сентября Азов отмечал 950-летие со дня основания.
  
  Добавим, что «Азов» в этом году уже в третий раз участвует в праздновании Дня города Азова: ранее он приходил в 2008 и 2011 годах.
  
  Большой десантный корабль «Азов» проекта 775/III был заложен под именем «БДК-54» 22 ноября 1988 года на «Северной верфи» (г. Гданьск, Польша). Спущен на воду 19 мая 1989 года, 12 октября 1990 года вошел в строй. Длина корабля составляет 112,5 м, ширина - 15 м, осадка - 3,7 м. Максимальная скорость хода 18 узлов. Дальность плавания 6000 миль при 12 узлах.
  
  Корабль был переименован в «Азов» 23 ноября 1998 года, получив это имя от одноименного большого противолодочного корабля ЧФ. Город Азов с тех пор шефствует над кораблем. В настоящее время на «Азове» срочную службу проходят семеро азовчан.
