  Казахстан выразил готовность обеспечить грузопотоком железнодорожный транспортный коридор Карс - Ахалкалаки - Тбилиси - Баку

  Казахстан выразил готовность по обеспечению грузопотоком железнодорожный транспортный коридор Карс - Ахалкалаки - Тбилиси - Баку, заявил журналистам заместитель министра транспорта Азербайджана Муса Панахов, сообщает “РЖД-Партнер” со ссылкой на Kazakhstan today.  "Казахстан готов оказать всяческую поддержку этому коридору в части обеспечения его грузопотоком. Мы также будем работать с Казахстаном относительно его присоединения к этому проекту. Если они поддержали грузопоток, то соответственно, будет и их участие, что повысит эффективность деятельности этого коридора", - сказал Панахов. По его словам, казахстанская сторона прогнозирует транспортировку по Карс-Ахалкалаки-Тбилиси-Баку 10 млн. тонн грузов в год. "Это достаточно большой объем для данного коридора. Если казахстанская сторона обеспечит даже половину прогнозируемого объема, то это уже повысит экономическую эффективность транспортного коридора Карс-Ахалкалаки-Тбилиси-Баку", - указал замминистра.
  Проект создания железнодорожного транспортного коридора Карс-Ахалкалаки-Тбилиси-Баку включает строительство железнодорожной ветки Карс-Ахалкалаки протяженностью 98 км, из которых 68 км приходится на долю турецкой, 30 км - грузинской территории. Также определенная реконструкция необходима на участке Ахалкалаки - Тбилиси. Строительные работы в Турции оцениваются в $220 млн., в Грузии - в $202 млн. Как ожидается, ежегодно по ветке, которая имеет прямой выход на европейскую железнодорожную сеть, будет транспортироваться порядка 30 млн. тонн грузов в год.

  По первичным прогнозам, через 2 - 3 года после ввода в эксплуатацию железной дороги Карс - Ахалкалаки - Тбилиси - Баку по ней будет транспортироваться 3 - 5 млн. тонн грузов, а при наличии приемлемых ценовых условий для грузоперевозчиков через 5 лет перевозки могут возрасти до 5 - 8 млн тонн. Часть грузоперевозок придётся на нефть и нефтепродукты, но наибольший объём составят сухие грузы (кокс, сера, цветные металлы и другие).
