  Атомные ледоколы Росатомфлота за зимне-весеннею навигацию обеспечили проводку 253 судов валовой вместимостью 10,9 млн тонн

  Атомный ледокол «Таймыр» Росатомфлота 22 июля 2018 года завершил проводку танкера «Псков» из Обской губы в район мыс Желания. Ледокольное обеспечение этого рейса стало заключительным этапом зимне-весенней навигации Росатомфлота. За восемь месяцев работы в акватории Северного морского пути – с декабря 2017 по июль 2018 года – атомные ледоколы ФГУП «Атомфлот» обеспечили безопасную проводку 253 судов суммарной валовой вместимостью 10,9 млн тонн (за декабрь 2016 года – июнь 2017 года это значение составило 5,6 млн тонн). Об этом сообщает пресс-служба предприятия.
  
  «По сравнению с прошлым годом объем перевезенных грузов увеличился практически вдвое, - говорит советник генерального директора ФГУП «Атомфлот» Леонид Ирлица - При этом количество проведенных судов сократилось в 1,6 раза. Такая статистика связана с характеристиками проводимых судов: вместо небольших грузовых судов ледоколы Росатомфлота все чаще обеспечивают проводку танкеров-газовозов, вместимостью до 80 тысяч тонн. Это новый качественный рывок в работе арктического флота».
  
  
  В настоящее время атомный ледокол «Таймыр» ожидает подхода китайского теплохода TIANHUI для формирования транзитного каравана следованием в восточном направлении.
  
  Первый транзитный рейс в 2018 году осуществил атомоход «Вайгач». 15 июля он взял под проводку танкеры «Андрей Первозванный», «Борис Вилькицкий» и «Владимир Русанов». 17 июля в Хатангском заливе «Борис Вилькицкий» и «Владимир Русанов» отделились от каравана и продолжили путь самостоятельно. 22 июля «Вайгач» завершил проводку «Андрея Первозванного» в Певек. Теперь атомоход Росатомфлота ожидает формирования первого каравана с востока. «Вайгач» поведет за собой три судна: танкер CLEAN PLANET, теплоход HLLRICHARDSBAYи разгрузивший в порту газовоз«Андрей Первозванный».
