  MAN Energy Solutions представила новый двухтопливный двигатель на СУГ топливе

  Немецкий производитель дизельных двигателей MAN Energy Solutions (Аугсбург, входит в корпорацию MAN SE) представил свой последнюю модель в линейке двухтактных двигателей – двухтопливный двигатель MAN B & W ME-LGIP, который будет работать на сжиженном углеводородном газе (СУГ). Новый двигатель продемонстрировали 3 сентября 2018 года на презентации в Копенгагене, в которой приняли участие главный директор  по продажам немецкой компании Уэйн Джонс, а также клиенты и деловые партнеры, сообщает пресс-служба компании.
  
  Компания ожидает спрос на двигатель ME-LGIP со стороны владельцев газовозов типоразмера VLGC и каботажных судов.
  
  Двигатель ME-LGIP будет отличаться повышенной эксплуатационной стабильностью, эффективностью, при изменениях нагрузки и переключении между видами судового топлива и экологичностью с минимальными потерями газа. Стендовые испытания показали, что двигатель ME-LGIP дает 18% снижение выбросов CO2 и почти 90% сокращение выбросов твердых частиц при работе на СУГ в отличие от работы на тяжелом дизельном топливе.
  
  Новый двигатель на СУГ топливе является частью инициативы, начатой компанией в 2016 году (после Парижской конференции по климату в конце 2015 года) по разработке технологических решений для экологичного судоходства в рамках общего подхода международной судоходной отрасли и политики инвестирования в развитие инфраструктуры и модернизацию.
  
  Компания уже получила первый заказ на данную модель двигателя еще в марте 2018 года, когда компания Hanjin Heavy Industries  объявила о проекте строительства двух супер больших газовозов на верфях на Филиппинах по заказу бельгийского перевозчика газа EXMAR. Суда вместимостью по 80 тыс. куб. м будут работать на двигателе серии B&W 6G60ME-LGIP Mk9.5.
  
  Сжиженный нефтяной газ был выбран в качестве топлива для газовозов класса VLGC чтобы соответствовать новым стандартам IMO по уровню серы, которые должны вступить в силу в 2020 году. Заказанные двигателя будут поставлены на судостроительный завод в декабре 2019 года. После сдачи в эксплуатацию суда будут зафрахтованы Statoil.
