In January 2019, the port of Vyborg handled 85,600 tonnes of cargo (+21%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 19% to 82,000 tonnes including 28,200 tonnes of coal and coke (-54%) and 50,400 tonnes of mineral fertilizers (+26%).
Transshipment of general cargo remained flat, year-on-year, at 3,600 tonnes including 3,500 tonnes of metal scrap and 100 tonnes of other cargo.
In 2018, the port of Vyborg handled 1.93 million tonnes of cargo (+25%, year-on-year).
