Konstantin Anisimov resigns from the post of general director of Moscow River Shipping Company (MRSC, part of MRP Group), effective as of March 5. The inland fleet operator has said Mr. Anisimov will be replaced by Bakhtiyor Kasimov as interim general director. Previously Mr. Kasimov was general director of Southern River Port (also member of MRP Group).
Konstantin Anisimov has been at the helm of Moscow River Shipping for 17 years.
He told PortNews that he is currently evaluating offers for a new job.
Moscow River Shipping Company (part of MRP Group) is one of the oldest shipping companies and specializes in transportation of freight and passengers on inland waterways of Russia’s European part. The Company operates a fleet of 150 cargo ships, more than 20 passenger vessels, and a range of handling equipment and production facilities.
