Leningrad region, Russia based coal port operator Port Vysotsky OOO in January-February 2019 handled 1,389,942 tonnes of export coal, which represents a 39.8% growth on the previous year figures, the stevedoring company said.
In February, coal exports by Port Vysotsky reached 621,117 tonnes.
Port Vysotsky OOO (Port of Vysotsk, Leningrad region) specializes in handling Russian coal exported to Western Europe. Depth of the coal port’s basin and access channel is 12.7 meters width – 200 metres. In 2018, the port handled 7,893,091 tonnes of cargo.
