  В Балтийском море проходят военно-морские учения "БАЛТОПС-2007"

  В акватории Балтийского моря началась активная фаза международных военно-морских учений "БАЛТОПС-2007", в которых со стороны ВМФ России участвует сторожевой корабль "Неустрашимый" Балтийского флота. Об этом РИА Новости сообщил сотрудник пресс-службы Балтийского флота.  "Накануне выхода кораблей в море, с 1 по 3 июня, в датском порту Орхус состоялись инструктаж и постановка задач командирам кораблей и тактических подгрупп", - сказал представитель флотской пресс-службы.

  По его словам, учения разделены на два этапа. На первом этапе, с 4 по 11 июня, отрабатываются вопросы взаимодействия внутри тактических групп и отрядов, поисково-спасательные, досмотровые мероприятия, выполняются задачи противовоздушной и противоминной обороны, практические артиллерийские стрельбы, а также учения по пополнению запасов в море.  "На втором этапе, с 11 по 14 июня, пройдут учения по борьбе с пиратством и терроризмом на море, проводке конвоев с гуманитарным грузом. По окончании учений "БАЛТОПС-2007" корабли примут участие в традиционной Кильской неделе - с 15 по 22 июня", - сообщил собеседник агентства.

  Он также заметил, что в учениях задействованы в общей сложности 25 надводных кораблей, две подводные лодки, два судна обеспечения, семь самолетов и четыре вертолета из 11 стран мира - Дании, Германии, Латвии, Литвы, Польши, России, Швеции, США, Великобритании, Франции и Нидерландов.

  Говоря об участии в "БАЛТОПС-2007" корабля Балтийского флота "Неустрашимый", представитель пресс-службы добавил, что российский "сторожевик" находится в одном оперативном морском отряде с боевыми единицами ВМС США, Великобритании и Голландии.  "Наш корабль не новичок на этих учениях. В прошлом году его экипаж под командованием капитана второго ранга Игоря Смирнова показал себя на "Балтийских операциях" с наилучшей стороны. В Балтийске - родной базе - возвращения "Неустрашимого" ждут 24 июня", - сказал собеседник агентства.  Он напомнил также, что в нынешнем году учения "БАЛТОПС" проходят в 35 раз. Балтийский флот России участвует в них 14 раз.
