Board members of Sillamae port and Baltic Chemical Terminal signed agreements on cooperation and building leasehold
Vitalij Ivanov and Margus Viakhi, Board members of Sillamae port and management of Baltic Chemical Terminal in the person of Aadu Lukas, Chairman of the Council, and Alexander Volokhonskij, Chairman of the Board, signed at the end of September 2006 agreements on cooperation and building leasehold. According to RZhD-Partner, the target of cooperation is the construction of Baltic Chemical Terminal (main shareholder of it – Akron LLC) for liquid chemicals at Sillamae port. Planned annual output of the terminal is 1 million tons of ammonia and 0.5 million tons of liquid carbamide fertilizers. Total value of construction will amount to about €45 - 50 million. Sillamae port will build a 1.2 kilometers long and 10 - 13 meters deep quay pier with four berths.
