  ООО "Грузинская железная дорога" может быть передано в управление частной компании

  Министр экономического развития Грузии Георгий Арвеладзе не исключает, что ООО "Грузинская железная дорога" может быть передано в управление частной компании, сообщает “РЖД-Партнер” со ссылкой на “Интерфакс”.  "Мы не исключаем, а наоборот, приветствуем передачу Грузинской железной дороги в управление сильной частной компании, чтобы железная дорога стала эффективнее, могла привлекать больше грузов", - заявил Арвеладзе журналистам. По словам министра, "ни о продаже, ни об отчуждении железной дороги речь не идет".

  Арвеладзе отметил, что государство должно как можно меньше вмешиваться в менеджмент компании. "Это наша принципиальная позиция. Мы хотим, чтобы меньше было государственного аппарата и больше стало частного сектора, частных структур", - подчеркнул он. При этом Арвеладзе отметил, что пока преждевременно говорить о какой-то конкретной компании, в управление которой может быть передана железная дорога. "Никакого конкретного плана еще нет. Посмотрим, как будут развиваться события", - сказал министр.

  Он сообщил, что в прошлом году в восстановление железнодорожной инфраструктуры, обновление и пополнение подвижного состава было инвестировано 80 млн лари (около €33 млн), а в текущем году предусматривается вложить 140 млн лари (около €57,5 млн). "Грузинская железная дорога приобретает все большее значение для развития транзитной функции страны. С вводом же в эксплуатацию железнодорожной магистрали Баку - Тбилиси - Карс Грузия уже напрямую сможет связываться с Европой", - отметил Арвеладзе.
