    Грузооборот порта Санкт-Петербург в январе-июле 2007 года возрос на 15% и составил 34,2 миллиона тонн

    Грузооборот порта Санкт-Петербург в январе-июле 2007 года возрос на 15% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года и составил 34166,4 тыс. тонн, сообщает ФГУ “Администрация морского порта Санкт-Петербург”. За отчетный период перевалка навалочных грузов составила 5618,8 тыс. тонн (+57% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года). В том числе перевалка руды составила 437,0 тыс. тонн (+12%), минеральных удобрений - 3666,3 тыс. тонн (+49%), перевалка угля и кокса составила  1483,7 тыс. тонн, что в 2,3 раза превышает показатели января-июля 2006 года.  За семь месяцев было обработано 366,8 тыс. тонн насыпных грузов (зерно) (+34%). Перевалка лесных грузов в январе-июле 2007года составила 1518,6 тыс. тонн (-10%). Генеральных грузов было обработано 8950,0 тыс. тонн (+1%). В том числе черных металлов перевалено 2690,4 тыс. тонн (-10%), цветных металлов перевалено 868,3 тыс. тонн (-3%), металлолома - 1587,5 тыс. тонн (-12%).  Тарно-штучные грузы составили 299,7 тыс. тонн (+17%), рефгрузы – 2310 тыс. тонн (+14%), прочие генеральные грузы - 1194,3 тыс. тонн (+36%). Перевалка контейнеров в январе-июле 2007 года возросла на 16% и составила 9704,9 тыс. тонн (962756,0 teus). Перевалка нефтепродуктов составила 7999,9 тыс. тонн (+14%). Судооборот порта за семь месяцев 2007 года составил 15689 единиц.

    Порт Санкт-Петербург расположен на островах дельты реки Нева, в Невской губе, в восточной оконечности Финского залива Балтийского моря. В границы Большого порта Санкт-Петербург входит дельта реки Нева и Невская губа, Кронштадт и комплекс защитных сооружений Санкт-Петербурга от наводнений (дамба). В период зимней навигации в порту осуществляется ледокольная проводка судов. На территории порта по данным Администрации морского порта Санкт-Петербург, перевалку грузов ведут около 30 стивидорных компаний.
